The ‘epilepsy warriors’ breaking down the barriers in Cameroon

Found this interesting article about epilepsy stigma in Cameroon! It has some thought-provoking bits, including how the initiative to combat stigma is led by people in the community and by people with epilepsy themselves, and also about disparities in accessing epilepsy medication. Also, even if traditional healers in this case aren't providing the epilepsy treatment needed, it is worth considering why people choose these healers and if perhaps the healers can and would be open to playing a role in the anti-stigma initiative. Please read the full article for more information!
